About us

Dog training should not be overwhelming, time consuming and expensive. At MPK9 we make dog training affordable, comprehensible and we do it in the comforts of your home and neighborhood where it counts the most.

It is important that we as dog owners understand the differences between people and dogs. A dog has a much better chance of adapting to our homes and communities if we establish rules and boundaries. In order to do that your dog must become a follower. We teach PEOPLE how to become leaders!

Training can start as early as eight weeks with leash training and potty training. Some breeds can learn more at an early age while some take a little bit longer. Although it is true that young dogs are easier to train, OLD DOGS CAN LEARN NEW TRICKS.

We use the training methods that YOU THE OWNER are most comfortable with. Including Harnesses and training collars (no choke chains). Each choice you make with equipment for training will have a direct correlation with how long and how effective the training will be. Those choices will be explained to you thoroughly if requested/necessary.

An evaluation will be required to start training to determine the compatibility of you, your pet and your trainer. We recognize that not all training methods and trainers are compatible with your lifestyle. We here at MPK9 want you to have the BEST training experience, even if it not with us. THERE IS A FEE FOR THE EVALUATION.
